Glen Matlock talks to Henry Scott-Irvine about his career in music after the Sex Pistols. His career spanned working with his band The Rich Kids (Midge Ure, Steve New, and Rusty Egan). He went on to tour and record with Iggy Pop then formed the Philistines with (the late) Steve New. He has recently performed with The Silver Machine, featuring Bobbie Gillespie and members of Primal Scream, Little Barrie, and The Who's/Oasis's Zak Starkey on drums. Glen is about to become the bass player in the recently reformed Faces (with Ronnie Wood, Ian McLagan and Kenney Jones) who will debut at Goodwood with Simply Red's Mick Hucknall providing vocals on Friday 13th August. Glen's new Philistines album "Born Running" gets an exclusive airing here!
